Liverpool are set to be without first-choice goalkeeper Alisson for a number of key fixtures after he suffered a shoulder injury in training.
The 28-year-old Brazil international collided with a team-mate ahead of the Reds’ disastrous 7-2 defeat to Aston Villa, with replacement Adrian setting the tone with a horrendous mistake for Ollie Watkins’ opening goal.
Alisson is out of action for Liverpool for four to six weeks with a Merseyside derby, their opening Champions League group-stage fixtures and some key games in the Premier League coming up.
