Alejandro Balde gives Marc Casado new nickname after Barcelona friendly win

Barcelona defender Alejandro Balde has handed out a new nickname to team-mate Marc Casado after Thursday’s friendly win over Olot.

Casado came on as a substitute in the game and earned praise from the opposing manager after the 1-0 win to the Catalan giants.

The Barca youngster posted a photo from the game on social media afterwards with the caption: “First minutes of pre-season. We are still working.”

Balde was quick to reply with a very simpl message: “Kimmich ”

Barcelona have been linked with a move for Joshua Kimmich recently but it’s difficult to see it happening due to the club’s financial situation.
