The 23-year-old Austria international, who is comfortable playing in midfield, has carved out a reputation as one of the best left fullbacks in the world with his performances for Pep Guardiola's side.
Alaba placed highest in our poll with over 6000 votes, almost double of those received by Real Madrid defender Marcelo and Arsenal left back Nacho Monreal, who finished second and third respectively.
