Krisztian Nemeth is back in MLS again as it was announced yesterday that the Columbus Crew were bringing in the Hungarian international. After not being offered a new contract by Sporting at he end of the 2019 season, Nemeth went back to Europe and joined DAC in Slovakia. Injuries and the COVID-19 pandemic limited Nemeth to just a pair of appearances for the club, one league appearance and one cup. Nemeth will mainly be relied on to back up the Crew’s leading scorer, Gyasi Zardes.
In other news, Across State Lines has been expanded and will now also include former Swope Park Rangers/Sporting Kansas City II players as well as local college players that are playing professionally around the world.
