Since being waived at the end of the 2017 MLS season, former Sporting Kansas City midfielder, Soni Mustivar’s name hasn’t popped up in any real rumors about a new location for the player. That has changed though as the Haitian international has signed to continue his career in Azerbaijan. Mustivar signed on to play in the 2018/2019 season with Neftchi PFK, a club based in Baku, the Azerbaijan capital. Neftchi is currently in 5th place in the Azerbaijan Premier League this season as the league is winding down.
