The US women’s national team is closing out 2020 this Friday with a friendly against the Netherlands. Along with regular national team call up and former FC Kansas City player, Becky Sauerbrunn, another former FCKC player was called up as well. Kristie Mewis, who made 20 appearances for the club earned a call up after impressing at a camp that was held in Colorado. Mewis has earned 15 caps in her career and scored one goal for the US team and will be joining her sister Sam Mewis for national team duty. Here’s the rest of this week’s update.
