As MLS teams kick off their run in the CONCACAF Champions League this week, one former Sporting Kansas City player has rejoined a team competing in the competition. Aurelien Collin, the MVP of MLS Cup 2013 has re-signed with the Philadelphia Union for the 2021 season. Collin is set to begin his third season with the club, providing veteran leadership along the back line. In the shortened 2020 season, Collin didn’t play a single minute or the Union. In 2019, Collin had appeared in six games, starting all of them for a total of 530 minutes played.
