Sporting Kansas City’s former captain, Matt Besler has officially joined a new club as it was announced today that Besler has signed for expansion side Austin FC. He joins two former Kansas City players, both former teammates of Beser. Austin’s head coach is Sporting Legend, Josh Wolff and one of Wolff’s assistants is former captain Davy Arnaud. Besler is a good addition for the expansion side and will be looked on to be a leader for the team on the field in their expansion season. He very well could be named the club’s first captain as well.
