Achraf Hakimi produced a five-star performance as Borussia Dortmund defeated Atletico Madrid 4-0 at Signal Iduna Park.
The wing-back, on loan from Real Madrid, had started life in Germany seamlessly but his performance on Wednesday evening - also his Champions League debut for the Bundesliga leaders - was a class above as he provided three assists for his teammates in the rout.
Hakimi, predominantly a right-back, filled in comfortably on the opposite wing and help set up fellow summer signing Axel Witsel for the opener in the 38th minute.
In the 73rd minute, his cross was swept in by Raphael Guerreiro to double the hosts’ lead.
