The summer of 2016 is proving to be one of great uncertainty for AC Milan.
On the back of a season in which the Rossoneri underachieved and missed out on Europe once again, there have been protracted negotiations between club president Silvio Berlusconi and a Chinese consortium over the possibility of a takeover.
With the potential for fresh investment, the transfer rumour mill has been filled with speculation considering players Milan may look to sign.
However, while the idea of large-scale squad upheaval may sound appealing following yet more disappointment, the club must first prioritise the retention of key players that are already on their books.
