Ramires has two years left on his contract but Chelsea are looking to keep him at the club till 2019.
The Brazilian joined Chelsea in 2010 from Benfica and has made over 200 appearances for the club, where he won Champions League, Premier League, Europa League, FA Cup and League Cup during his five years stay at the club.
The 28-year-old lost his regular starting place in the side, as Jose Mourinho prefers the pairing of Nemanja Matic and Cesc Fabregas in centre. However, he has started in the last two games against Porto & Southampton and produced a brilliant cameo performance after coming off the bench at Newcastle.
