UNIVERSITY PARK -- SMU sophomore wide receiver Myron Gailliard caught his first career touchdown pass during the 54-32 win over UNT Saturday. He made it count, too, on the 76-yard reception courtesy of D.J. Gillins.

"It was a heck of a catch. Heck of a throw, heck of a catch there," said SMU offensive coordinator Joe Craddock, who praised Gailliard's work ethic during the preseason. "It was very rewarding. Myron's an Energizer Bunny. He never stops. He just keeps going, keeps playing."

Craddock did have notes for Gailliard, a Mansfield Timberview product, on a missed third-down catch last weekend.
