SMU has added another homegrown commitment to its 2019 recruiting class.
Calvin Wiggins Jr., a three-star, 6-foot-3 wide receiver from Trophy Club Byron Nelson, announced his commitment to the Mustangs on Tuesday night.
Wiggins also had offers from Cal, Baylor and BYU, among others. He received his first Division I offer from Navy back on April 30.
This season, Wiggins proved to be a big-play threat, averaging over 23 yards per reception. He finished the season with 28 catches for 645 yards and eight touchdowns.
Wiggins joins a huge Dallas-Fort Worth contingent heading to play for SMU next season.
