Despite being firmly committed to the TCU Horned Frogs, 2016 San Angelo Central (Tex.) quarterback Brennen Wooten was once again on the Hilltop to take in the Mustang’s first home victory in over 600 days.
The three-star senior arrived with his brother and father right at kickoff and enjoyed seeing a much-improved SMU team.
“You can just see a different kind of intensity and a different kind of confidence,” Wooten said. “Offensively and defensively they’re playing with more confidence and I think that has contributed to some big plays.
