The scene inside an SMU football team meeting last fall mimicked the Mustangs' locker room after a victory.
A familiar rap track with a cadence of looping notes -- A, D, A, B flat -- blared while a few Mustangs jumped around and rattled off every word. But this occasion last November was about to get even more chaotic.
The artist behind the song playing, Big Tuck, walked in from the back of the room to the front and started rapping along to "Southside Da Realist" as the football players went crazy.
"It was a surprise factor," said the Dallas native, whose legal name is Cedric Tuck.
