Free throws were the topic of conversation around Kansas after its loss to Oklahoma this week, in which Jayhawk center Udoka Azubuike missed six free throws down the stretch of a five-point road loss to the Sooners. One Jayhawk fan even tried to stake out the basketball dorm at KU to give free throw advice to the sophomore.
One guy that Kansas head coach Bill Self spoke with was his SMU counterpart, Tim Jankovich, who worked as an assistant under Self for five seasons at both Illinois and Kansas.
