Despite a 25-5 record and finishing ranked No. 25 in the AP poll, SMU wasn't exactly well represented on the All-American Athletic Conference team, which was released on Tuesday.
The lone representative for SMU was Nic Moore, who was one of two unanimous first-team selections.
Moore, last year's AAC Player of the Year, led SMU with 16.1 points, 5.2 assists and 2.4 rebounds per game. The electric point guard was SMU's biggest playmaker and helped the Mustangs get out to an 18-0 start.
Throughout his career at SMU, Moore, who transferred in from Illinois State, made clutch shots and key plays.
