SMU women's basketball coach Rhonda Rompola announced Monday that she plans to retire at the end of his season, her 25th on the bench at the Hilltop.
Rompola has led the program to a 438-314 record.
Rompola was a player for the Mustangs from 1981-83.

DALLAS (SMU) - After 35 years on the Hilltop as a coach and student-athlete, Rhonda Rompola will step away from SMU and from coaching at the conclusion of the 2015-16 season, as the long-time coach announced today that she will retire at season's end.
