Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield was arrested early Saturday morning in Fayetteville, Ark., on charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct, fleeing and resisting arrest.
Mayfield was arrested at 2:56 a.m. booked into jail at 8:21 a.m. He was released at 11:23 a.m. on a $1,535 bond. Mayfield faces an April 7 court date on the public intoxication charge, according to the Washington County sheriff's office.
Oklahoma's spring game is April 8.
A police officer was flagged down to take an assault and battery report from a person yelling at Mayfield, who said he had been trying to break up an altercation, according to a preliminary police report obtained by ESPN.
