The SMU receiving corps received a big boost on Saturday.
West Virginia transfer Reggie Roberson will be eligible this season, Mustangs coach Sonny Dykes said after practice Saturday morning. Roberson, a Mesquite Horn graduate, received a waiver from the NCAA to play immediately instead of sitting out a season after transferring.
"Reggie's going to be a big addition for us," Dykes said. "He's a really talented kid. The most impressive thing about Reggie is just his toughness and his desire to be a good football player. He's got a lot of tools. That's what makes him different, he's got brand new desire to be a really good player.
