SMU quarterback Matt Davis has declared for the 2017 NFL Draft, according to a report from Ian Rapoport.
Davis had applied for a sixth year of eligibility after missing most of the 2016 season due to injury.

After transferring in from Tyler JC by way of Texas A&M, Davis grabbed a hold of the starting job late in the 2014 season.
