Nic Moore won't get to see his college career end in the NCAA tournament.
But the electrifying SMU senior point guard did get a nice consolation prize as he received the American Athletic Conference's highest honor.
For the second year in a row, Moore was named the AAC Player of the Year, the conference announced on Wednesday morning.
SMU head coach and Hall of Famer Larry Brown gave Moore a ringing endorsement a few weeks ago.
"You look at all the dynamics that have gone into this year and what he's done," Brown said. "He's been as good as anyone in the country as far as I'm concerned and he strives to do it every day.
