Two SMU basketball players will miss the rest of the season with injuries, Tim Jankovich announced Monday.
Junior guard Jarrey Foster has a torn ACL and freshman forward Everett Ray has a broken foot, Jankovich said at “The Fast Track” Monday night.
“The first thing is how badly you feel for those guys,” Jankovich told the crowd at Ozona’s Grill. “When you start taking away minutes from someone’s career, which is what injuries do, I don’t know that there’s too many things more sad than that.”
Foster went down with a left knee injury while going for a layup in SMU’s win against Wichita State Wednesday.
