SMU's recruiting class has taken a hit.
The Mustangs lost a commitment from three-star Willis offensive lineman King McGowen on Tuesday.
He announced his decision via Twitter.
McGowan originally committed to SMU in June. He holds offers from Houston, Louisiana Lafayette, North Texas, Southern Miss, Texas State, Texas Tech, UTEP and UTSA.
At 6-foot-5, 271 pounds, McGowen is ranked as the No. 115 offensive tackle in the country and No. 186 overall prospect in the state, per 247Sports Composite.
SMU is down to 19 commits in its 2019 class, which is ranked third in the American Athletic Conference.
