SMU has bolstered its secondary.
The Mustangs picked up a verbal commitment from three-star Highland C.C. cornerback Damarion Williams this week.
He announced his decision via Twitter.
Williams was previously committed to Minnesota but backed out of his verbal pledge in December.
At 5-foot-11, 170 pounds, Williams is ranked as the No. 9 junior college cornerback in the country, per 247Sports Composite.
SMU now has 20 commits in its 2019 recruiting class, which ranks third in the American Athletic Conference.
