UNIVERSITY PARK -- Walking into SMU's football facility on Tuesday, there was a big stack of bottled waters on the floor. They weren't for the team's hydration.
The football players donated supplies like the water, diapers, baby formula and soap to Hurricane Harvey relief. The supplies were loaded up into a U-Haul and driven south to Port Arthur by director of former player relations Ramon Flanigan.
Our players bought the supplies, @smu8qb is delivering them to Port Arthur! Proud of our young men for giving back to those in need.
