SMU basketball players Nic Moore and Markus Kennedy were honored with American Athletic Conference awards. For the second consecutive year, Moore was named the AAC Player of the Year and Kennedy was named AAC Sixth Man of the Year.
Moore started 29 of the Mustangs’ 30 games, leading the team in scoring with 16.1 points per game; assists, 5.2 per game; steals, 1.5 a game; and 3-pointers per game.
