SMU's original plan was to have head basketball coach Tim Jankovich stick around for the long haul. And it appears the Mustangs are sticking with him.
Jankovich will return to The Hilltop next season, per a report from Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports. The Mustangs finished the 2018-2019 season below .500 with a 15-17 record, their worst finish since Larry Brown's first season as coach in 2012-2013.
