After closing the regular season with seven straight victories, the women's volleyball team opens the NCAA tournament against Texas A&M at 4 p.m. Friday in Austin.
The Mustangs are making their second straight NCAA appearance. They went 25-7 in the regular season and 18-2 to claim the AAC championship. The 18 conference wins is a program record.
Texas A&M posted a 21-8 record in the regular season, finishing tied for third in the SEC at 15-3. The Aggies played seven matches against top-25 teams.
