The son of SMU head coach Tim Jankovich and a former Dallas-area basketballer will play college hoops at Kansas.
Michael Jankovich became the latest Jayhawks commitment on Saturday. The 6-5 shooting guard will reportedly join the program as an invited walk-on, per the Kansas City Star's Gary Bedore.
According to 247Sports.com, Utah State was Jankovich's only reported offer.
Though once speculated, the idea of Michael playing under his father on The Hilltop never gained more traction as time went on. After all, the Jankovich family had strong ties to basketball in Kansas before Tim Jankovich took the reigns of the Mustangs from Larry Brown.
