Second Baptist defeated St. John's on Friday night in a 27-21 win, giving the Eagles their first win of the season. Running back Lynnard Rose, a three-star prospect, was the player of the game, accounting for two touchdowns and also playing some safety along the way.
Rose is accruing attention from programs including Texas, Stanford, Oklahoma State, and Florida State, and has already picked up offers from the likes of Rice, SMU, Houston, and all Ivy League programs.
