The only suspense left in the second half of Saturday's game at Moody Coliseum was whether SMU senior guard Jonathan Wilfong could find a way to score in his last home game.
In the opening minutes of SMU's final regular-season game against Memphis, the crowd cheered when Wilfong touched the ball and groaned when he passed off a potential bucket.
Finally, with 6:14 left in the game, it happened.
The Memphis, Tenn., native dribbled to his right, stepped back and drilled a mid-range jumper, giving the fans what they wanted for all afternoon in a 103-62 victory over the Tigers.
