UNIVERSITY PARK -- SMU head coach Chad Morris has a weekly radio appearance on KAAM 770 AM with SMU play-by-play man Rich Phillips at Ozona's Bar and Grill. This Monday's appearance was like any other, with Morris discussing the Mustangs' latest game, this time a bowl-clinching 38-34 victory over Tulsa.
Morris' ended his hour-long appearance this Monday with an appeal to fans to fill Gerald J. Ford Stadium for the homecoming game this weekend against UCF.
"We're putting a good product out there," Morris said. "Now it's time to show up."
The announced attendance for the Tulsa game was 14,930 but the eye test told you that the number through the gate was a fraction of that.
