How Jordan Wyatt, SMU's elder statesman, prepared to play for his fourth head coach in five college seasons

Jordan Wyatt has been here before.

The SMU fifth-year senior cornerback has transitioned through coaches before -- three of them to be exact. So after June Jones and Tom Mason and Chad Morris, acclimating to new Mustangs coach Sonny Dykes should be a breeze.

"We know how to adapt to new coaches," Wyatt said during SMU training camp. "We're just bringing those young guys along and telling them to buy into the system."

Wyatt is the elder statesman on the SMU defense, the jewel of the secondary and one of the oldest players on the team.
