Update on SMU's QB competition?
Grosbard: Not much of one. It's pretty much Ben Hicks' job. The more interesting question watching the QBs is who will be Hicks' successor in a couple of years. Freshmen Austin Upshaw and Will Brown have both been impressive this spring, though both have trouble with consistency. So it's not too exciting now but eventually there will be one between those two.
