The crosstown rivalry kicks off the Dykes era at SMU. While SMU has won its past three games against the Mean Green, UNT is a much different team than even the one that lost to SMU 54-32 a year ago. SMU only leaves Denton with a win if the defense steps up and can hold Mason Fine in check.
