SMU combined homecoming with signing day last week with the announcement that former Mustang Randall Joyner was joining the coaching staff as a defensive ends coach. Fresh off two years as a graduate assistant at Ohio State and barely 24 hours after arriving in Dallas, Joyner spoke with SportsDay about his return to his roots and what he learned with the Buckeyes.
How's it feel to be back in Dallas?
Joyner: "It's awesome to see the family, but what a great opportunity at SMU, a place I'm very familiar with. It's a chance to build something so very exciting.
