UNIVERSITY PARK -- For the second time this season, quarterback Ben Hicks achieved a career milestone in a loss.
Hicks had 321 yards in total offense to pass Ramon Flanigan as SMU's all-time leader in the category. Hicks, a junior, has 7,720 career yards in total offense. Flanigan had 7,437 yards from 1992-97.
Hicks became the career passing yards leader during a loss at Central Florida.
-- Wide receiver Reggie Roberson Jr. had seven catches for a career-high 147 yards and two touchdowns. It was Roberson's second 100-yard performance in the last four games.
Roberson had three catches for more than 20 yards in the second half.
