UNIVERSITY PARK -- To North Texas coach Seth Littrell, the real game on Saturday night won't happen on the field when the Mean Green hosts SMU. For Littrell, eyes should be shifted to the stands towards his wife Becca, and SMU coach Sonny Dykes' wife Kate.
"That's the game, to be honest with you," Littrell joked this week. "Put the cameras on them at halftime. Hopefully, they're not sitting together, like sisters. May be up in the stands fighting or something."
The Littrell and Dykes families are close friends, with Seth and Sonny working on the same staffs at both Texas Tech (2005-06) and Arizona (2009) and now working less than 40 miles apart.
