SMU added the commitment of another local recruit on Thursday as Bishop Lynch defensive end Warren Walls pledged to the Mustangs with an announcement on Twitter.
"First I would like to thank my Dad because without him this isn't possible," Walls wrote. "With that being said I'm committing to Sonny Dykes and The Southern Methodist University!"
Walls, a 6-foot-4, 220-pound rising senior who is an All-American wrestler, held offers from Air Force, San Diego State and Wyoming. He is a three-star recruit according to 247Sports.com's composite rankings.
He is the 15th member of SMU's 2019 recruiting class and the first defensive end prospect.
