There's not a lot of movement at the top of our latest Best in Texas poll. After taking over the No. 1 spot last week, the Texas Longhorns remained on top after their first road win against Kansas State in 16 years. Texas A&M remained in the No. 2 spot -- the same place it has had on this poll since Week 1 -- with a rivalry game victory against Arkansas in Arlington.
But thanks to a domino effect after North Texas' first loss of the season -- a dramatic two-point loss that ended with a blocked game-winning FG attempt -- a couple Big 12 teams experienced a bump up the polls, even though not everyone won last week.
