The American Athletic Conference said on Tuesday a play in SMU's game against Memphis that left Mustangs tight end Ryan Becker with an injured has been "addressed to the conference's satisfaction.''
The statement said the Memphis addressed the issue, "as prescribed in our Conference Code of Sportsmanship, so we will not have any further comment on it.''
The play occurred during the second quarter of Friday's game at SMU. Becker fumbled at the Memphis 7 after a reception, and Memphis linebacker Jackson Dillon twisted his right knee during the scramble for the loose football.
SMU coach Sonny Dykes called it a "non-football move,'' adding there is "certainly not a place for that in college football.
