SMU coach Sonny Dykes knows offense. He's made his living making scoreboards spin and defenses wonder, bringing his Air Raid attack to head coaching gigs at Louisiana Tech and California.
But in the first week of his first preseason camp at SMU, Dykes sees an offense searching for a rhythm, especially during Saturday morning's scrimmage at Highland Park High School.
"We're working on figuring out our identity a little bit offensively," Dykes said. "But I was happy with what I saw."
