Associated head coach Tim Jankovich took over for Larry Brown as head coach of the SMU basketball game recently. Here are 10 things to know about the Ponies' new coach.

1. Extensive coaching tree. Jankovich has been coaching since 1983 but got one of his big breaks as an assistant at Kansas under head coach Bill Self, who vouched for Jankovich when he was hired as SMU's head-coach-in-waiting in 2012.
