This past weekend, the Seton Hall men’s and women’s cross country teams had successful outings at the NJIT Invitational.
The women’s team dominated the competition, finishing first with a total time of 1:32:44, which was four minutes faster than the second place team, Wagner.
Emma Newgarden won the individual title finishing the 5K race in 18:13. This is Newgarden’s second consecutive individual title, as she won at the Cappy Anderson Invitational on Sept. 22.

Following closely behind Newgarden was Olivia Hernandez, who finished second overall at 18:25.
