The Seton Hall women’s basketball program has paused all team activities and canceled their first three games of the season due to positive COVID-19 tests, according to a release from the athletic department.
The announcement came Friday evening after multiple positive tests among “Tier 1” team personnel. Tier 1 personnel are comprised of student-athletes, coaches and staff.
According to NCAA recommendations and Big East protocol, the team must quarantine for 14 days before they can resume team activities, forcing the Pirates to cancel their first three games of the season. The team will not be able to start up again until Dec.
