NEWARK — After suffering a close loss on the road to Villanova earlier in the week, Seton Hall responded with a sluggish and sloppy performance against Creighton on Saturday to drop its first home game of the year, 82-67, at Prudential Center.
The high-powered Creighton offense shook off a slow start with with a 12-0 run late in the first half to help turn a 22-17 Seton Hall lead into a 41-33 Creighton advantage by halftime. Using efficient 3-point shooting while exploiting their size advantage inside, the Blue Jays ran away with the game in the second half.
