The Seton Hall women’s tennis team extended its winning streak to three matches after a convincing victory against Fairfield on Saturday. The Pirates’ success was highlighted by contributions from the whole team, which held Fairfield scoreless with a 7-0 victory.
Seniors Hannah Liljekvist and Julia Keenan, joined by sophomore Luize Strike, continued their impressive seasons by remaining undefeated in singles play. Liljekvist and Keenan showed some veteran skill with clean 6-0 sweeps of their opponents after two sets.
The singles matches were rounded out by senior Isabell Klingert, who is poised for another great run after leading the team in singles wins last season, and sophomore Marisa Quevedo, who shut out her opponent in the second set.
