The Seton Hall men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams came home with mixed results after the WVU Tri-Meet this past weekend. The men’s team defeated Xavier, 168-119, but fell to host West Virginia, 235-64, whereas the women’s team lost to both Xavier, 176-111, and West Virginia, 217-82.
Despite being on the losing end in three of the four matches, many Seton Hall swimmers found individual success at the meet.
On the men’s side, Joe Gibson won the 1000-meter freestyle with a time of 9:46.12 and finished third in the 500-meter freestyle at 4:40.11. Josh Tosoni finished third in the 100-meter and 200-meter breaststroke swims with times of 57.
