The Seton Hall men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams each came away with victories against Montclair State University on Friday evening.
The women’s team broke three pool records as it won its second consecutive meet to begin the season, 141-96. The men’s team bounced back from its opening season loss in impressive fashion with a 134-66 victory.
The women’s team wasted no time asserting its dominance at the meet, as the four-person team of Julie Stankiewicz, Jordan Decker, Amelia Wootton and Courtney McCardle swam a pool-record 1:49.88 in the 200-meter relay.
Heidi Dickson continued her good start to the season by winning the 100-meter fly and helping her team set the pool record for the 400-meter free relay swim.
